The Georgia Department of Transportation has awarded a contract for the resurfacing of the connector (Ga. Loop 1) from Martha Berry all the way to Highway 411.

The project will include just over 7.9 miles of milling, inlay, and plant-mix resurfacing.

C.W. Matthews Contracting of Marietta is the low bidder at $ 5,494,934.77.

The estimated completion date, according to GDOT, is January 31, 2025.
