The Rome City School Board is expected to adopt its Fiscal Year 2025 budget when it meets Tuesday.
The budget projects a beginning balance of $10 million, up from $7 million for FY24.
Total anticipated revenue is $83,653,000, up from $75,653,000.
Estimated expenditures are $83,250,000, up from $77,300,000.
There is an increase in state funding of $6,715,000 budgeted, along with a $1.3 million increase in the City of Rome’s appropriation.
The school board meeting will be held at the Rome City Schools College and Career Academy on Veterans Memorial Highway.
The caucus begins at 4 p.m. with the regular meeting to follow at 5:45 p.m.
