Rome City Schools is pleased to announce that Hillary Daniel has been named Assistant Principal at Main Elementary School.
Daniel has close to a decade of teaching and administrative experience for Rome City Schools. She most recently served as assistant principal at East Central Elementary. Before that, she taught eighth-grade mathematics for Marietta City Schools and Rome City Schools. She has coached volleyball as well as basketball and football cheerleading and has served as the Black History Program Co-Chairperson and Chairperson for Rome City Schools.
“I am both grateful and excited to begin the upcoming school year at Main,” Daniel says. “The school is rich in history, and I am humbled by the opportunity to serve the families, faculty, and staff. All aboard!”
Daniel earned her BS in Middle Grades Education and Master’s in Middle Grades Education from Kennesaw State University. “We are delighted to welcome Hillary Daniel as the new Assistant Principal at Main Elementary School. Hillary, a former student of Main, brings with her a deep understanding and appreciation of the community,” Main Elementary Principal Taurence Phillips says. “Her enthusiasm and dedication to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment make her an invaluable addition to our team. We are confident that her leadership and commitment will greatly benefit our school community.
