A Kingston man was arrested Wednesday on charges of battery, aggravated battery, and reckless conduct following an incident at East Hermitage Road and New Hermitage Road.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

56-year-old Gregory Lee Crowe accelerated his vehicle while a woman was holding onto the passenger door frame, causing the victim to fall.

She became lodged under the vehicle and got run over.

The woman sustained fractures to her femur and ankle, requiring surgery.

Crowe and the victim share a home on Flowery Branch Road.
