-Rome Police Department report-

The Rome Police Department is investigating the reported theft of a boat in the area of Veterans Memorial Highway and Riverside Parkway.

According to the police report:

The boat owned by a construction company that was being used by a crew to remove debris from the river was taken from a trailer.

The theft occurred sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

The 16-foot aluminum hull boat has a value of around $1,500.
