The Floyd County Commission will consider the approval of a proposed pay plan adjustment when it meets Tuesday night.

The pay plan was reviewed and discussed at the Administrative Services Committee meeting on August 5.

It would go into effect on September 1, if approved.

The commission will also consider a request from Floyd County Public Animal Welfare Services to approve an increase in revenue and expenses for the Spay and Neuter clinic.

Currently, the program has had 4 events and has $5,200 in revenue and $1,600 in expenses.

The plan is to have two events for each of the remaining months this year to meet demand.

There are currently over 300 animals on the waitlist.

The commission meets in the County Administration building at 12 East 4th Avenue.

The caucus will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m.
