A 14-year-old student at Apalachee High School is facing murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed four people — including a coach from Rome — and injured nine others at the school on Wednesday.
Authorities say two students and two teachers were killed and nine others were injured in the shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder.
Among those was Ricky Aspinwall, a father of two and a Rome High graduate who took his athletics career to the professional level and coached at Apalachee.
Colt Gray, a student at the school, is facing murder charges and will be tried as an adult.
