-Rome Police Department report-

The Rome Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the West Rome Dominoes on Shorter Avenue.

According to the incident report:

Just before 11 p.m. last Wednesday, an employee was returning from making a delivery when she was approached by a man who stated “Give me everything or I will kill you.”

The man was armed with a handgun and what appeared to be a kitchen knife.  

The victim gave the man some cash in her pocket.

Once again, he demanded everything and threatened to kill the victim before slamming her head into the door of her vehicle and grabbing her cell phone and wallet.

The suspect then told the victim to turn away from him and go into a grassy area away from the store but she refused.

A co-worker then exited the store and the suspect ran to his car and drove off.

Police were able to life some fingerprints at the scene.
