Rome Police are continuing their investigation into an apparent murder in East Rome.

On Sunday morning, officers responded to the Sunoco at 2309 Maple Avenue and located a man on the concrete in the parking lot beside the store.

It was apparent the man had lost a massive amount of blood.

Paramedics arrived and determined the man was already dead.

Police spoke to a number of people at the scene, including some who attempted to render aid.

The victim has been identified as Charvish Darnell Dargin.
