Report: Woman pulled knife on woman, ran over victim with a vehicle

A 46-year-old Rome woman has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault following her arrest on Sunday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Kizie Lee Donaldson pulled out a knife and held it to a woman’s neck.

She also ran the victim over with a vehicle and damaged a mailbox and a tent at the home on Perkins Street.

Donaldson is additionally charged with 2nd-degree criminal damage to property and criminal trespass.

Man accused of setting dumpster fire on Dean Avenue

A Rome man was jailed Sunday on a felony charge of 1st-degree arson.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

68-year old William Edward Scott damaged a dumpster at 1403 Dean Avenue by setting a fire.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday.

Report: Man threatened officer

A West Rome man allegedly threatened a police officer who had responded to a domestic altercation on Echota Circle on Saturday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

21-year old Edgardo Funez-Larios is charged with simple battery for incidents involving two family members.

He is also charged with 2nd and 3rd-degree cruelty to children because one of the victims is under the age of 18.

Funez-Larios also knocked a cell phone out of the underage victim’s hand, resulting in a charge of interference with a 911 call.

He was additionally charged with terroristic threats and acts after stating he would cut the police officer’s throat.

Man charged with fleeing or attempting to elude

A Silver Creek man is accused of fleeing from police in the Cave Spring area over the weekend.

According to Floyd County jail records:

A vehicle driven by 33-year-old Zachary Robert Lampkin was clocked going 75 in a 55-mile-per-hour zone on Gadsden Road at Rehoboth Road.

Lampkin fled, reaching speeds of around 127 miles per hour.

He then attempted to get out and walk away from his vehicle.

Lampkin is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, speeding, reckless driving, obstruction of officers, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Report: Man put jail officer in a headlock

A man arrested Saturday for a probation violation is facing an additional charge after he reportedly put a jail officer in a headlock.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

33-year-old Thomas Lee Allen refused to follow orders and then violently resisted deputies.

He is charged with a felony count of obstruction.

Homeless woman accused of having meth, and someone else’s credit card

A homeless woman is facing charges of theft of lost or mislaid property and possession of a controlled substance following her arrest on Conn Street in West Rome late last week.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

42-year old Lavonda Marie McGee had methamphetamine, and someone else’s driver’s license and credit card at the time of her arrest on warrants charging her with misdemeanor counts of failure to appear in court.
