Floyd County Commissioners will consider a timber consulting contract with American Forest Management for the Ag Center property when they meet Tuesday.
The agriculture center, which is being funded by the 2017 special purpose, local option sales tax, will be located on about 42 acres near Mt. Berry Mall and work is expected to begin soon.
The commission will also vote on a proposal for renovation plans for Floyd County Police Department Headquarters at the former Glenwood School from E Dunay Design and consider documents for Clubhouse renovations at AdventHealth Stadium from the Sizemore Group.
Commissioners will also take time to recognize county employees with anywhere from ten to 35 years of service.
The commission meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the County Administration building located at 12 East 4th Avenue. The caucus starts at 4 p.m.
