One killed in wreck on I-75 Monday

Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a single-vehicle wreck on I-75 in Adairsville Monday evening.

65-year old Neville Forsythe of Chattanooga was a passenger in the Ford Explorer that crashed after a tire malfunctioned near the Highway 140 exit.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the SUV rolled several times before coming to rest on its top.

Forsythe was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was airlifted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
