On Saturday Ridge Ferry Park was abuzz with excitement as the community came together to indulge in delicious food and festivities at the 2024 Backyard BBQ Bash.
Hosted by the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Department and Coca-Cola, this event brought together local pit masters and cooks to showcase their barbecue skills to the public.
Attendees had the opportunity to sample an array of barbecue creations and cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice Award.
Beyond the barbecue, event-goers were treated to other entertainment and activities like a car show which benefited the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Santa Program.
An arts and crafts vendor area offered unique homemade goods.
