An East Rome man listed on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s “Most Wanted” list was arrested Thursday.

According to Floyd County Jail records and an arrest warrant:

27-year-old Tyler Austin Nichols pointed a gun at a man after punching him several times on Highway 411 near the connector back on April 6.

The victim sustained a black eye and swelling to the side of his face from being punched.

Nichols is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, reckless conduct, battery, and a probation violation.
