-Calhoun Police report-

A teen has been arrested following a deadly shooting Sunday night in Calhoun.

The shooting occurred at the Carriage Apartments on Red Bud Road.

17-year-old Lowell Thomas Yancey, of Calhoun, is charged with murder.

According to a Calhoun Police Department report:

Witnesses stated that Yancy and the victim, James Kinsey, had some sort of an argument and Yancy pulled out a handgun and shot Kinsey twice.

The investigation is continuing and the GBI is assisting.
