Woman accused of neglecting three dogs

A 29-year-old Rome woman was arrested at her Antioch Road home Tuesday on three felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.

According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:

Cinnamon Brooke Barnes failed to provide adequate food and water for three dogs causing them to become severely emaciated.

The toenails on each dog had become overgrown to the point where they were starting to affect their paw pads.

Barnes admitted that she had not made any attempts in the last couple of months to seek medical treatment for the dogs.

Woman charged with animal cruelty

An East Rome woman is accused of failing to seek medical attention for her dog after its hind legs were broken.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

The dog suffered prolonged and physical pain as a result.

39-year-old Carolyn Rene Stoner is charged with a felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals.

Man charged with criminal trespass, criminal damage to property

A North Rome man is accused of causing damage in a room at an assisted living center.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

32-year-old Isaac Sellers entered the room of a family member at Winthrop Court on Highway 411 where he scattered and tossed food and other items about before passing out on a couch with beer cans all around him.

Sellers, who was in a highly intoxicated state, also damaged the victim’s television by punching it.

He is charged with 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and a probation violation.

Two charged with meth possession

The execution of a search warrant at a home on Donahoo Road on August 7 has resulted in the arrest of two Silver Creek women on drug charges.

According to the arrest warrants:

Suspected methamphetamine was found along with other items belonging to 42-year-old Brandy Alice Mathis and 23-year-old Casey Cheyenne Cromer, who were residing in the home.
