Authorities have identified a woman who was struck and killed by a train on Old Dalton Road at North Industrial in Calhoun Tuesday evening.

The Gordon Gazette reports that Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor, who was assisting the Calhoun Police Department, identified the woman as 55-year-old Liuying Fu, originally from China, who lived in a home in the area.

According to Proctor, Fu cleaned a warehouse close to where she was hit, but authorities have not determined why she was walking on the tracks.

Proctor said that they will be reviewing video from the train’s camera to hopefully gain more information.
