Rome residents participated in the 2024 NAMIWalks event on Saturday afternoon at Heritage Park.

The event supports the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), which focuses on improving the lives of those affected by mental illness through education, support, and advocacy.

This year’s fundraiser raised over $57,000, which will be used to provide resources and support for local individuals living with mental illness.

The walk route began at Heritage Park, proceeded to Broad Street, and then returned to the park.
