Woman charged with theft

An Adairville woman has been charged in the theft of several items from a location on Angel Road in Cave Spring.

According to an arrest warrant:

47-year-old Nakia Marie Nelson and another individual took a generator and a chainsaw back on July 21.

The thefts were captured on video.

Nelson is charged with felony theft by taking.

Warrant: Man threw rock at business

A 27-year-old Rome man has been arrested on charges of criminal trespass and criminal attempt to commit a felony in connection with an incident earlier this month.

According to an arrest warrant:

Nathan Kendall Whorton went onto the property of the Frisky Biscuit on New Calhoun Highway, while the business was closed, and threw a rock at the front door causing scratches to it.

Man accused of failing to charge ankle monitor

A 44-year-old Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with interference with an electronic monitoring device.

According to the warrant:

David Roy Weems III circumvented the operation of an ankle monitor by not charging the device.

He was required to wear the monitor as part of a pre-trial bond condition.
