Man accused of fleeing from police, ramming patrol vehicle

A Rome man is accused of ramming a police car during a pursuit early Monday.

According to Floyd County jail records:

Police attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Tyrease Rashun Creamer at Second Avenue and West Third Street for running a red light.

Creamer fled, reaching speeds of around 105 miles per hour, running another red light and a stop sign.

He then bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot into an apartment on Dodd Boulevard.

Creamer is charged with aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude, four counts of obstruction, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, DUI, reckless driving, driving without a license, speeding, failure to maintain a lane, failure to obey traffic control devices, and a stop sign violation.
