92 Floyd County residents have COVID-19

The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting that 92 Floyd County residents have now tested positive for COVID-19.

There have been three deaths, and 80-year old man, a 65-year old female and a 75-year old male, all had underlying medical conditions.

Statewide, as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, there were 9,156 confirmed cases statewide with 348 deaths.

1,899 are hospitalized.

The rest have either recovered or are quarantined at home.

Bartow County has 191 cases and 12 deaths.

Gordon County has 25 cases and there have been three deaths.

Polk County has 20 cases, no deaths, and Chattooga County has four cases and one death.

Remember, these numbers reflect the county of residence not where they are hospitalized.
