A motorcyclist from Calhoun was critically injured in a two-vehicle wreck Friday night on Calhoun Road at Dellinger.
According to Floyd County Police, a Harley Davidson was traveling northbound and a Ford Mustang was turning onto Calhoun Road.
Police say the driver of the Mustang, 46-year old Preston Blankenship of Rome, failed to yield after stopping at the stop sign.
The motorcyclist, Chad West of Calhoun, laid the motorcycle down and traveled several yards before impacting with the Mustang.
At last report, West was in stable condition at Floyd Medical Center and showing signs of improvement.
