A ninth Floyd County resident has died from COVID-19.
According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, Floyd County now has 128 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Public health officials report that 19,399 Georgians have now tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
There have been 775 deaths and 3,703 hospitalizations.
64 Gordon County residents have tested positive and six have died.
Bartow County is at 255 cases and 24 deaths.
Polk County has 36 cases a no deaths while Chattooga County reports nine positives and one death.
