Three charged with felony child cruelty

Three Cave Spring residents have been arrested on felony warrants charging them with 1st-degree cruelty to children.

According to the warrants, 22-year old Lauren Faith Amos forced a two-year-old child to sit on the potty and then allowed others to strike the child when she got up.

27-year old Edward Beachum Amos is accused of striking the child on several occasions with his hand and belt, leaving bruising.

26-year old Tyler Mason Hicks reportedly allowed another to strike the child.

The incidents occurred between February and May at a home on Glenn Road in Cave Spring, according to the warrants.
