Man charged with reckless conduct, terroristic threats and acts

A 24-year old Rome man was jailed Saturday after allegedly firing a gun on Old Cave Spring Road.

According to Floyd County Jail records, after firing the shot, Milford Major took the magazine out of the gun and then threw the weapon and magazine underneath his residence.

The victim said that she believed Major fired the shot at her residence.

Major is charged with reckless conduct, discharge of a firearm near a public street or highway, terroristic threats and acts, tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
