A message from the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office:
“The scammers are at it again, This time they are targeting Weapon Carry Permit holders.
They represent themselves as being from the Probate Office and they request your credit card information to renew your permit.
Do not divulge your information to the caller.
If you think it may be legitimate then hang up and call the Probate Court.
Do not just redial the number that called you.”
