Three arrested for obscene internet contact with a child, other charges

Floyd County Police arrested three men Wednesday on charges related to internet use and minors.

According to jail records, 46-year old Jimmy Wayne Bowen of Rome is charged with criminal attempt to commit a felony, two counts of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, obscene internet contact with a child, and two counts of furnishing obscene materials to a child.

Meanwhile, 31-year old Jiovani Tomes Ortega of Tucker, Georgia was also charged with criminal attempt to commit a felony and one count of obscene internet contact with a child.

The third arrest was 27-year old Jeff Eugene White of Conyers, Georgia.

 He was charged with two counts of the sexual exploitation of children, and single counts of obscene internet contact with a child and electronically furnishing obscene material to minors.
